Giclée Prints
Giclée (zhee-clay), from the French for "sprayed," refers to the process by which these limited edition prints are made. The original image is first captured digitally. Then, under the supervision of the artist, it is refined and printed using a high resolution continuous tone process in which millions of droplets of special ink are sprayed onto watercolor paper.
The result is a fine art print of enduring quality.
Giclée prints are known for their detail, subtlety and superb color range.
Limited Editions
The prints in this series were made from paintings and pastels in the artist's own collection and in private collections.
Each subject has been reproduced in a limited edition, usually no more than 250 in number. Edition sizes have been purposely kept small to maintain the value of each print.
Every print is individually hand-pulled, one at a time, on archival 100% rag watercolor paper using the highest quality inks to create a print with significant detail and contrast. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity verifying the edition size and denoting that the finest inks and paper are used. Unless otherwise requested, prints come with a hand-cut, museum-quality archival mat.
